Wado Kai Student Development Scholarship |
| |
The Wado Kai Student Development Fund offers two annual
scholarships of $500 each. All qualifying secondary students in Canada
are eligible for selection. |

Dear Students,
Summer is upon us and I know many of you plan on taking a well
deserved rest. For those of you that need your karate "fix" we will
be holding one class a week all summer. It will be Wednesday
evenings from 7:00 to 9:00 at the Elks Hall in Didsbury
(on main across from the Royal Bank). Please note, different day
for Didsbury, new time and alternate venue. |

Classes are targeted at adults but if some of the youth kyu belt
wish to attend please give me a call to see if it would be suitable. |

First class will be tomorrow night, June 25th and will run until we
switch back to the school in the fall. Cost for the session is
$75/person or $150/family or if you prefer a drop-in charge of
$10/person. |

For those of you that just can't do without your karate I'll see you
tomorrow night. For the rest of you, have a great summer, watch
our website (the new one will be up and running in the very near
future, thanks to George!) for start dates in the fall. And if you're
looking for something to do this summer, Turner Valley is a
beautiful drive, come see me! (home 931-2421). |
